Tri-Town · Squirrel Mayhem
Privacy policy
Effective September 14, 2026, for Tri-Town Squirrel Mayhem 1.0. The game is made by jonclaude.net. The included world plays offline and does not require an account.
On your device
Unless you pair the optional conversation connection, the app does not send gameplay or saves to the developer. The street readout describes your character's position in the game; the app does not request your device's GPS location. This version has no microphone recording, advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
Bundled world assets, the saved scene, and downloaded static 3D object files are stored on your device. Downloaded files can be reused offline; a new object needs an internet connection for its first download. On Apple TV, the operating system may remove cached downloaded files to recover storage; those files need a connection to download again. Connection credentials are stored in the device Keychain. Deleting the app removes its local app data, but Keychain credentials and Apple device backups may persist. Deleting the app does not revoke its server access or delete server records or email already sent.
Optional conversation connection
If you pair the app using a code from the creator’s agent, it sends a random paired-installation identifier, app version, selected character, in-game position, facing direction, camera view, screen size, readiness, and rendered object placements to an authenticated private world service on the creator’s Mac. This lets the agent place and adjust objects through conversation while you play. These records are linked to the paired installation and used for game functionality, including synchronization and recovering saved edits.
While the game is visible, the connection sends updated reports and receives saved scene changes. Moving the app to the background pauses periodic sharing and attempts to send a final inactive report. The service keeps the latest position report for each paired installation. Reports older than 15 seconds cannot be used for new position-based placement, and reports older than two minutes are excluded from active-session listings. These are freshness limits, not a promise that the records or their backups have been erased.
Saved objects, object files, edit history, and pairing records remain on the creator’s storage until separately removed. Removing an object from play does not erase its edit history. To revoke this device's access, open Pause → Conversation connection → Disconnect and wait for confirmation; an offline failure must be retried when connected. Saved local objects remain after disconnection. Contact the developer to ask about or request deletion of server records and related backups.
Game hosting and connection providers
The game service, paired-world records and object downloads are hosted on the creator’s Mac. The game backend does not use Google Cloud or Firebase. Tailscale provides the public HTTPS connection to that Mac and processes connection metadata under its privacy policy. The server and transport receive ordinary connection information needed to deliver requests, such as network addresses and request timing.
This website
The public game, support and privacy pages on jonclaude.net are served by Google Firebase Hosting. Visiting a page sends normal connection information, including your IP address and browser request, to that hosting provider. These pages contain no analytics scripts, advertisements or sign-in. Google handles its service data under its privacy policy. Visiting this website does not pair your game or grant access to a private world.
Optional feedback and email
If you choose Feedback, your category and description are placed in an email for you to review and send. Nothing is submitted automatically. If you send it, I receive your sender address, name if supplied by your email account, and the message you choose to send. I use these to respond, resolve problems, and consider suggestions for the game. My email provider processes and stores the message.
A suggestion does not automatically become public or appear in the game. Do not include private details about other people. You can contact contact@jonclaude.net to ask about or request deletion of correspondence. Deleting the app does not delete email already sent.
Apple services
Apple handles App Store and TestFlight services, beta feedback, device backups, and diagnostics under its own policies and your settings. The game adds no analytics service.
