Help & support

For help, bug reports or suggestions, email contact@jonclaude.net. The developer is Jon Claude Haines.
Please include your device model, iOS/iPadOS or tvOS version, Henry version/build, what you were doing, and the exact message shown. A screenshot or photo of the TV screen can help. You do not need to send passwords, Apple account details or payment information.
iPhone & iPad
Playing
In the current iPhone and iPad preview (build 19 or later), steer Henry while the arcade match is running. At first he resists; sustained steering gradually gives you control and breaks him free. You do not have to leave the court. Rainbow Pulse marks the escape, and play begins while the paddles react. Earlier previews use repeated direction changes and a court exit.
Drag to move Henry. CALL gathers nearby ducks and affects nearby creatures. You can use CALL while moving with another finger. In the pause menu, choose automatic pulses when you stop or button-only pulses. Double tap or use BURST to dash.
Bring the ducks home, collect memories and quarters, and avoid the hazards. CALL also scatters nearby monsters and briefly stuns pursuing paddles or slows a boss. Rescuing ducks restores hearts. When all five hearts are gone, that attempt ends. In the current iPhone and iPad preview, quarters also recharge RAINBOW PULSE. Its seven rings reach across the screen; walls block hits, and bosses require three charged hits. Some tougher creatures need CALL to slow them before a pulse. Quarters have no cash value and are not wagers or purchases.
Saving and starting again
The game has three save slots on this device. BEGIN starts an empty slot. CONTINUE resumes a saved run. NEW GAME replaces the selected slot after confirmation and starts the opening again. DELETE SAVE removes that slot’s run and checkpoints after confirmation; past local high scores remain.
Checkpoints become available as you progress. After a game over, replaying a checkpoint uses part of the score saved at that checkpoint, restores five hearts and generates a fresh layout. The point deduction appears on screen.
Moving to another device
The iPhone and iPad version keeps saves and high scores on the device. It does not offer Game Center leaderboards or in-game cloud synchronization. Do not delete the app to troubleshoot a save you want to keep. Device backup and restore behavior depends on Apple’s settings; a successful transfer is not guaranteed by the game.
Sound and display
Use the game’s sound setting and your device’s volume controls. The iPhone game uses portrait orientation; the iPad game uses landscape. The iPhone and iPad version requires iOS or iPadOS 18.0 or later.
Apple TV
Start playing
Choose BEGIN in an empty save slot. After the opening date, watch the paddles play Pong and change directions several times to help Henry break free. Holding one direction does not complete this opening. Once free, move out of the court in the direction of the arrow. The first rescue starts after the paddles’ house lights up.
| Action | Siri Remote | Supported game controller |

Bring the ducks home, collect memories and quarters, and avoid hazards. CALL also scatters nearby monsters and briefly stuns pursuing paddles or slows a boss. Rescuing ducks restores hearts. Quarters are score pickups with no cash value.
The pause menu includes WORLD MAP and the choice between automatic pulses when you stop and button-only CALL. Game content is bundled locally, so you can play without an internet connection or a game account.
Save and recover progress
There are three save slots on this Apple TV. CONTINUE resumes a saved run. NEW GAME replaces the selected slot after confirmation. Checkpoints become available as you advance; replaying one spends one fifth of that checkpoint’s score and starts a fresh layout with restored hearts. The local high-score board keeps finished runs.
tvOS can remove cached files. Henry keeps an emergency recovery copy in app preferences, but a large campaign can outgrow it. A storage warning means that copy may contain older progress; make an iCloud backup when available.
Back up to iCloud
If BACK UP TO ICLOUD is available in the main menu, choose it to save your progress to your private iCloud storage. If a backup already exists, review its date and confirm before replacing it. You need an internet connection, an iCloud account signed in on Apple TV, and available iCloud storage.
The backup includes all three save slots, their checkpoints and the local high-score board. Separate app preferences stay on this Apple TV; settings recorded inside a saved run, such as its pulse mode, travel with that run. New progress is not backed up automatically. Choose the backup command again after making progress you want to keep.
To recover on an Apple TV using the same iCloud account, choose RESTORE ICLOUD BACKUP, review its date, then confirm. Restoration replaces all three local slots and local high scores. It does not merge two campaigns. If your local progress, iCloud account or remote backup changes while the confirmation is open, Henry keeps the current copy and asks you to open backup again.
If you cancel while an upload is already underway, the backup may have reached iCloud before cancellation. Check the backup before retrying. A connection failure does not delete local saves. Apple TV backups do not automatically synchronize with the iPhone or iPad game.
DELETE SAVE removes the selected slot’s run and checkpoints after confirmation. It keeps past local high scores and does not erase older iCloud or recovery copies. Deleting the app does not delete its iCloud backup. The game has no in-game cloud-delete command; use Apple’s available iCloud storage management controls for cloud data removal.
