Privacy Practices
Last updated: August 26, 2026
This is a small, one-person professional-services business. I don't have a legal department and I'm not going to write like I do. Here's what happens with your information when you use this site or one of the private services attached to it.
What I collect
The public homepage does not have a sign-in form, contact form, advertising tracker, or analytics profile. If you choose the email or text link, your own device opens that communication channel.
Separate, permissioned services may use Google or TikTok sign-in. When you explicitly connect one of those accounts, I may receive the name, email address, profile photo, basic account information, statistics, public-video list, and video statistics that the provider says you authorized. I never receive your Google or TikTok password.
How I use it
- To identify you inside a private service you chose to use
- To deliver the workspace, content, or workflow you requested
- To organize, caption, review, and analyze videos for a TikTok account you authorize
- To upload a video as a TikTok draft, or publish it, only when you explicitly ask me to
I don't use your information for marketing, advertising, analytics profiling, or anything other than providing you with the service you signed up for.
Who sees it
Your information is visible to me (Jon Claude Haines) and the service providers and AI tools I use to run the site and the creator workflow. It is not sold, rented, used for advertising, or shared for somebody else's marketing. Period.
Where it's stored
Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), which is part of Google Cloud, and on systems I control for media production. Authentication is handled by Firebase Auth, Google, or TikTok as appropriate. TikTok access tokens are stored securely and separately from public website files.
Cookies and sessions
The public homepage does not set a sign-in or tracking cookie. A private service may store the session cookie needed to keep you signed in. There are no advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies. The fish swimming around the site don't collect data either.
Your choices
- Disconnect TikTok anytime through TikTok's connected-app settings or by contacting me
- Request deletion of your data by emailing contact@jonclaude.net or texting (860) 301-7019
- Use the public page without an account. No sign-in is required
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update this page. For a site this size, that's sufficient notice.
